So I met with Tissy today, and she analysed my skin (eeek….more of that below) and I made very clear my two main issues were the size of my pores and the wrinkles around my eyes. I’m going to pack away my stash of lotions of potions for now and for the next 8 weeks, I’m going to follow the Phyts routine morning and night. Tissy and I have taken some very close up pics for the before images and we’re going to keep you updated on the ‘experiment’.
Lait Hydro – a hydrating cleansing milk that washes off with water.
Crème Reviderm – a moisturiser for normal to oily skin that will revitalise and oxygenate the skin. Ideal for dull and mature skin and will help to refine the pores. This is green because the main ingredient is chlorophyll to stimulate cellular metabolism. It also contains wheatgerm which is anti aging and reinforces elasticity. It smells divine!
I can’t quite believe it’s only two products (my current routine had at least 7) but this is what’s recommended for a new client just starting out. That way it’s not a huge outlay and you can slowly test and build up.
Morning – Just splash my face with water (it won’t be dirty from sleeping all night) and follow with the moisturiser – that’s it!
Evenings – Take off make up with the Lait Hydro and rinse off with water, muslin cloth or wet cotton wool. Follow with the Crème Reviderm.
PS I can use this around my eyes too – I don’t need a separate eye cream.
So that’s it. We’re going to add in an exfoliator next week and I’m booked in for a revitalising facial too. I’ve also ordered the serum (couldn’t resist) which I’m going to incorporate into the routine too. Regular updates to follow….perhaps I should retitle this War of the Wrinkles!
What Tissy says:
During my consulation with Andrea, I found that she has a Combination of mature and oily skin. The main characteristics are that the pores are dilated and she has “crows feet” (wrinkles) around the eyes. I also found that she has poor circulation as there are a few broken capillaries around the nose. Her skin needs brightening, while reducing sebum and helping reducing the wrinkles – which are only around her eyes due to her beautiful smile!
So I recommended using our Creme Reviderm, the perfect moisturiser for a mature oily skin. Astringent and firming for pores and fine lines, it brings oxygen and vital elements quickly to the cells for a glowing result. It needs to be applied day and night all over the face, neck, lips and eyes.
As a Cleanser, she will use our Lait Hydro, a water soluble cleanser without glycerine. Its water soluble formula enables it to be rinsed while the skin stays soft and smooth. It contains Chamomile Matricaire which is softening, calming and anti-inflammatory. To be used in the evening to remove her makeup.
Andrea will be back to me next month for a Radiance facial, in order to see if her skin has improved and to give her further recommendations.
